Sharing research and exploring ideas at the GSEM’s Ph.D. Days
As part of the Geneva School of Economics and Management commitment to developing and supporting research, the School’s Institutes host Ph.D. Research Days.
The GSEM’s Institute of Management’s Ph.D. Day was held on 6 and 7 February 2023 and was facilitated by Professor Tina Ambos. The Institute’s Ph.D. students and Postdoctoral Researchers participated in short (for early-stage papers and research ideas) and long” (for more developed papers) presentations, which were followed by Q&A sessions and small group discussions. Additionally, GSEM Professors Thomas Fischer, Markus Meierer, and Ignazio Ziano gave a short overview of their research agendas. The event was hosted by the SDG Solution Space, which is managed by Professor François Grey.
The GSEM’s Institute of Economics and Econometrics’ Ph.D. Day was held in person on 3 March 2023 and was facilitated by Professor Aleksey Tetenov (GSEM) and Julia Cajal-Grossi (Geneva Graduate Institute). The event featured presentations from Ph.D. candidates from both institutes.
These interactive events allow Ph.D. candidates to present their work and receive feedback from fellow students and professors and provide a platform for discussion for members of the Institutes.
