Eva Cantoni appointed Specialty Chief Editor for Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics

Professor Eva Cantoni has been appointed Specialty Chief Editor for Statistics and Probability for the journal Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics.

The journal publishes peer-reviewed research in applied and applicable mathematics and statistics. Its scope is to communicate scientific knowledge to researchers and the public, as well as advancing the application of mathematics and statistical techniques to drive scientific developments in other domains.

Professor Cantoni has a particular interest in ecological applications, and her research is focused on robust statistics, variable and model selection, nonparametric regression, mixed models, and models for data with excess of zeros.
