Olivier Scaillet elected member of the International Statistical Institute

Professor Olivier Scaillet bas been elected member of the International Statistical Institute rewarding his interest and support.

Founded in 1885, the independent organization is present in over 150 countries. It aims to foster global understanding, development, and best practices in statistics. This is achieved by creating an inclusive space for advancing statistical knowledge, sharing cutting-edge developments, and facilitating networking opportunities.

Olivier Scaillet is a Professor of finance, statistics, and the head of the Geneva Finance Research Institute. His research focuses on derivatives pricing, econometric theory, and the application of econometrics to the fields of finance and insurance. He’s recognized for his contributions to the private and public sector, especially in academia.
