Olivier Scaillet reappointed Associate Editor of the Journal of Business & Economic Statistics

Professor Olivier Scaillet has been reappointed as Associate Editor of the top-tier Journal of Business & Economic Statistics (JBES) for an additional three years following his initial appointment.

The journal publishes a diverse selection of articles, with a focus on applied statistical analyses in the areas of microeconomics, macroeconomics, forecasting, business, and finance related topics. Its objective is to publish articles with substantial outcomes, high-quality methodological standards, excellent exposition, and usually include a comprehensive empirical application.

Olivier Scaillet is Professor of Finance and Statistics at the Geneva Finance Research Institute and serves as senior chair at the Swiss Finance Institute. His research focuses on derivatives pricing, econometric theory, and the application of econometrics to finance and insurance.
