Sylvie Moreau is President of Coty Professional Beauty and a member of the Coty Executive Committee. Her $1.8B division portfolio is home to some of Coty’s biggest brand stars: OPI, the No. 1 nail salon brand globally, Wella, the world’s No. 2 in professional hair category and ghd, No. 1 preferred hair appliance brand in key markets.
A beauty business veteran, Sylvie joined Coty in 2016 as part of its industry-leading merger with Procter & Gamble’s Specialty Beauty Business. Prior to this, she was responsible for the P&G’s Salon Professional division with operations in more than 100 countries. In this role, she led her team to deliver a top and bottom line turnaround, cementing Wella’s position in the industry and delighting the salon professionals around the world.
Sylvie joined P&G in 1994 and within her 22-year career held a variety of positions in local, regional and international roles, managing iconic brands like Pantene, Olay and Ariel.
Sylvie holds a Masters in Business Administration from École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) France, as well as a Masters of International Business from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Norway. A French native, Sylvie currently resides in Geneva, Switzerland, with her husband and daughter.
