Commodity Trading
The Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in Commodity Trading, was created in 2008 by the University of Geneva in collaboration with SUISSENÉGOCE (formerly the Swiss Trading and Shipping Association, STSA). Designed for professionals looking to develop their skill set in commodity trading or make a career change, it provides a strong and thorough curriculum, which uniquely covers all commodities and activities across the commodity value chain, from upstream to downstream.
As of September 2022, participants can choose a shorter version of the DAS with the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Commodity Trading, which is offered mainly online. This new program has been set up to answer the growing demand for online courses from our international audience.
The first week at the University of Geneva will allow professors, participants, Master in Trading students, and Alumni to interact.
In a continuous improvement process thanks to the insight of industry experts, this academic program enables participants to be competitive in a fast-evolving environment. By taking advantage of the proximity of the world-leading Geneva Commodity Trading hub, it also offers relevant networking opportunities.
The Diploma has trained close to 500 professionals from very diverse backgrounds and origins since its creation 14 years ago, building up a strong and dynamic alumni network all over the world.
Professionals wishing to enhance their knowledge in specific topics can take individual modules.
