Documents required for the Master of Science in Commodity Trading

You must submit an online application containing the following documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae (max 2 pages A4)
  • Transcript of grades of previous studies (Bachelor degree (parts 1 and 2 if obtained at GSEM) and other university studies, if any)
  • Copy of the Bachelor degree if already obtained (and other degrees if any), translated into a Swiss official language or English
  • Motivation letter in English (1 page A4)
  • Proof of completion of the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) (scores below 500 will not be considered) or the GRE (Graduate Record Examination). Obtaining one of these tests is mandatory for the upcoming application period, from January 15 to February 28.

Candidates for the Master in Commodity Trading must find an internship for September in commodities trading at a company or bank in Switzerland that specializes in commodities trading, trade finance, auditing, or inspections. Candidates will be able to post their CV and motivation letter on a dedicated platform set up by GSEM &  SUISSENEGOCE as of end-March. The candidates profiles will be available for companies as of 1st April. Companies will contact the candidates they are interested in between April and June. Please note that the company where you complete your internship does not have to be a member of SUISSENEGOCE.
