Documents required for the Master in Commodity Trading

You must submit an online application containing the following documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae (max 2 pages A4)
  • Transcript of grades of previous studies (Bachelor degree and other university studies, if any)
  • Copy of the Bachelor degree if already obtained (and other degrees if any), translated into a Swiss official language or English
  • Motivation letter in English (1 page A4)
  • Proof of English language proficiency at a minimum level of B2, as evidenced by recognized examinations or documents deemed equivalent such as, for example, certificates or proof of previous studies in English.

Candidates for the Master in Commodity Trading must find an internship for September in commodities trading at a company or bank in Switzerland that specializes in commodities trading, trade finance, auditing, or inspections. Once you have received confirmation from the University of Geneva that you have been admitted to the Master's program, you must start actively looking for an internship. The GSEM will assist you by posting your CV on the SUISSENEGOCE website (formerly STSA) and organizing a speed recruiting event April-May. Please note that the company where you complete your internship does not have to be a member of SUISSENEGOCE.
