Documents required for the Master of Science in Economics
1. If you obtained or will obtain…
… a Bachelor degree in Economics and Management from the GSEM, with a concentration in economics: you will have consecutive access to the Master in Economics. You must submit an online application by providing your personal data.

2. If you obtained or will obtain…
… a Bachelor degree in Economics and Management from the GSEM, with a concentration in management
You must submit an online application, by providing:
- Your personal data
- Transcript of grades of previous studies (Bachelor degree (parts 1 and 2 if obtained at GSEM) and other university studies, if any)
- Copy of the Bachelor degree if already obtained (and other degrees if any)
Note: Students who can justify a minor in economics or 30 ECTS credits of free courses (cours libres) in economics have direct access to the Master of Science in Economics.

3. If you obtained or will obtain...
… a Bachelor degree in International Relations (BARI) from the University of Geneva, with a concentration in international economics
You must submit an online application containing the following documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (1 page A4) or Europass CV
- Transcript of grades of previous studies (Bachelor degree and other university studies, if any)
- Copy of the Bachelor degree if already obtained (and other degrees if any)
Note: If you hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations (BARI) at the University of Geneva with a concentration in international economics, you will be directly admitted to the Master of Science in Economics provided that you obtained at least 60 ECTS credits in economics.

4. If you obtained or will obtain...
… a Bachelor degree in a field related to economics (with at least 60 ECTS credits in economics) from a Swissuniversities - outside the University of Geneva (list of Swissuniversities), you will be directly admitted to the Master of Science in Economics.
You must submit an online application containing the following documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (1 page A4) or Europass CV
- Transcript of grades of previous studies (Bachelor degree and other university studies, if any)
- Copy of the Bachelor degree if already obtained (and other degrees if any)

5. If you obtained or will obtain…
… a Bachelor degree from the University of Geneva, neither from the GSEM nor from the International Relations (BARI) with a concentration in international economics OR;
… a Bachelor degree from a Swissuniversities - outside the University of Geneva - in a non-related field of economics OR;
… a Bachelor degree abroad or outside a Swissuniversities
You must submit an online application containing the following documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (1 page A4) or Europass CV
- Transcript of grades of previous studies (Bachelor degree and other university studies, if any)
- Copy of the Bachelor degree if already obtained (and other degrees if any), translated in an Swiss official language or English
- Motivation letter in English (1 page A4)
- TOEFL (95-120), IELTS (6.5-7.5) or Cambridge Advanced Certificate (C1), unless the university degree was obtained in a program entirely taught in English or if English is the mother tongue.

The Scientific Committee may first require you to complete additional courses in economics, representing no more than 30 ECTS credits.
