Short bio
Marie-Noëlle Zen-Ruffinen is Professor of Corporate Law and Competition Law and attorney-at-law, Of Counsel at the business law firm Tavernier Tschanz in Geneva. She holds a Master and a Ph.D. in Law as well as a Master of Arts (Philosophy, Ethics)from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.
Marie-Noëlle Zen-Ruffinen is Chairman of the Foundation Swiss Board Institute (www.swissboardinstitute.ch), member of the Board of Management of the Association Swiss Institute of Directors (www.siod.ch) and member of the Board of Directors of the Bâloise Group (www.baloise.com).

Marie-Noëlle Zen-Ruffinen holds a PhD in Law, a Master of Law and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Fribourg.
She is a lawyer and Professor at the University of Geneva, School of Economics and Management. She is Chairman of the Swiss Board Institute, member of the Board of Management of the Swiss Institute of Directors and member of the Board of Directors of the Bâloise Group. Marie-Noëlle Zen-Ruffinen is the author and co-author of numerous publications, in particular of the reference book Le Conseil d’administration published in February 2017.
She is married and mother of two children.
