Dr. Niels Alexander Nijdam is a computer scientist and senior researcher and is leading the Information Security group (I-Sec lab). He obtained his PhD in computer science from the University of Geneva, at MIRALab, where his research topics included collaborative systems, distributed networking, remote simulations & rendering and programmable graphics. Beyond that he has been active in the medical domain (MRI Imaging), avatar systems, cyber security, Internet of Things and more recently on autonomous shuttles and smart cities (with a focus on cyber security and privacy).
