GBSN for Business and Human Rights Impact Community Annual Meeting

The Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights of the GSEM is hosting the GBSN for Business and Human Rights Impact Community 6th Annual Meeting. The meeting focuses on the advancement of human rights research and teaching at business schools and will discuss new initiatives, issues, and collective action within the research clusters.
The event is held in conjunction with the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights, the Alliance Business School at the University of Manchester, Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), and the Global Business School Network (GBSN).
Opening proceedings will be Michael Posner, Director of the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights and GSEM Professor Dorothée Baumann-Pauly, Director of the Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights. A highlight of the event will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding involving the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM), the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the Global Business School Network (GBSN) to expand collaboration on the inclusion of labor rights issues in business education.
Topics include the issue of forced labor in fishing and discussions on how to advance mainstreaming sustainable business with human rights in business education.
