Guidelines for posters and poster walks
Poster Size
The recommended printed poster dimensions are: A0 (portrait orientation). Posters should be easily readable at about 2 meters.
Installing your Poster
The poster area will be open for mounting on Thursday afternoon November 7th beginning at 16:00. All posters should be set up no later than 16:30 Thursday to be in place for the duration of the scientific meeting. The conference organizers will provide suitable fixing materials.
Posters will be organized by content area. Posters will be hung on poster boards with a corresponding abstract number, which can be found in the conference booklet. The conference organizers will be present to help you to find your poster board.
Poster Sessions
All posters will be available for review by conference attendees on Thursday starting at 16h30 and Friday all day. Poster authors /presenters are kindly asked to be present by their poster during breaks to answer any questions conference attendees may have and discuss their work, and make the most of the opportunities offered by the on-site meeting.
The winner of the poster prize will be announced on Friday November 8th at 17:15 during the closing ceremony and will receive a certificate.
Selected participants for poster walks
Five poster walks will be organised. If your poster has been selected for a poster walk, please join your poster walk 10 minutes before the start of the walk. You will have 3 minutes to present your poster. Make sure you speak loudly so that the audience can hear your presentation.
Please organise your presentation around the three following questions:
1) What is the main goal of my project?
2) How is implementation science being used to achieve my goal?
3) What is the main finding and/or lesson learned?
Removing your Poster
Please remove your poster on Friday November 8th by 16:30.
The organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage to any posters that are not removed by the specified time. Posters left behind after this time will be discarded.
REGISTRATION
All poster presenters must register to IMPACT 2024 Conference before October 15, 2024 on the conference webpage (https://www.unige.ch/impact2024/).
