4EU+: UNIGE is looking for its students representation

Last August, the University of Geneva joined the 4EU+ Alliance. The Alliance brings together seven prestigious European universities and offers numerous opportunities for the entire university community. The same applies to students, who can play an active role in shaping this EU project at international level. Each university is represented by 3 students, including one PhD, on the Student Committee, the Excecutive Student Committee and the Academic Council. The UNIGE is now looking for its own students representation!

You are ...

  • Registered as a student at UNIGE for the next academic year;
  • Interested in aspects of European construction;
  • Motivated to propose solutions to integrate your peers into the Alliance.

What you will do within the Alliance:

  •  A meeting every two months with the Student Committee (SC). This body brings together all the student representatives from the partner universities.
  • One meeting a month with the Student Executive Committee (SEC). This body is made up of one student present at the SC. It is responsible for bringing the SC's interests and ideas to the Alliance's higher bodies;
  • One meeting a month with the Academic Council (AC). This body (including some international office directors) advises the Management Committee (MC) on strategic issues, and also participates in the evaluation of certain projects;
  • Travel throughout Europe to meet your peers and carry out major projects;
  • Expand your academic and professional network.
