Studying in French

1. You wish to prepare your stay at the UNIGE before your departure:

→ "Pre-mobility FLE course" *level A1* organised by the Maison des Langues (MdL)

The "pre-mobility" course is a fee-based course and takes place online (4 weeks) and in person (1 week).

 2. You wish to participate in an intensive course at the UNIGE before the beginning of your semester or year of study:

→ In winter or summer, in person: Summer courses *all levels* organised by the Maison des Langues (MdL)

→ In summer, through distance-learning: Digital summer courses *levels B1-B2* organised by the Maison des Langues (MdL)

 Intensive French courses are fee-based courses: special discount for exchange students.

3. You wish to learn or improve your French during your stay, in parallel with your study programme at the UNIGE:

→ Support courses *all levels* organised by the Maison des Langues (MdL)

The validation of a semester-long "support course" allows you to obtain 3 to 6 ECTS credits.

Exchange students can take up to 4 hours of free support courses per week.
