Chercheur SCIEX post-doctorant en 2014-2015. Ancien élève de l’ENS (sélection internationale), il est docteur ès lettres de l’université de Genève où il a soutenu sa thèse intitulée « Religious Construction of the 20th Century in a “Non-Believing” Country: The Protestant Milieu in Czech Society 1900s–1960s » en 2012. Depuis 2006 il enseigne l’histoire contemporaine à la Faculté des sciences sociales de l’Université Charles de Prague, il a également collaboré à plusieurs projets scientifiques à l’Académie des sciences tchèques. Ses recherches actuelles portent sur l’histoire transnationale des processus de modernisation en Tchécoslovaquie au 20e siècle et sur les acteurs tchèques au sein des organisations internationales (OMS, BIT, FAO).
