| Description | In this talk I present results on the comprehension of short and long passives in the acquisition of a previously unexplored language, Catalan; delay in the comprehension of passives is found. A long-standing assumption in the acquisition literature, the adjectival interpretation of passives by immature children, is addressed directly by means of a second experiment. |
