| Description | Truthmaker semantics is a general semantic framework recently developed by Kit Fine. Fine argues in several papers that this framework is superior to the standard possible world framework. I will not argue for this general claim, but I will show how the framework can be fruitfully used and developed by focussing on particular applications, some of a distinctively linguistic flavour, others of a more philosophical content. |
