| Description | Learnable word-order permutations: Where do I begin? In this work, I observe language variation boundaries from a new angle. I argue that attested word orders are learnable orders, those that allow the child to pull herself out of the acquisition mire equipped with simple things: UG, a Mirror, and a stick (a statistical skill by which to detect the first lexical word).
