Charlotte Bank

Charlotte Bank studied Near Eastern archaeology, Assyriology and History of Art at the University of Heidelberg, from where she graduated in 2000. She then worked at the David Collection in the Islamic department in Copenhagen and as an independent curator and writer with a focus on contemporary artistic practice in the Middle East, dividing her time between Europe and Syria. In 2012 she started working on her PhD thesis at the University of Geneva, based on her research in Syria.
