Florian Cova

Professeur assistant

Florian Cova est Professeur Assistant au Département de Philosophie de l'Université de Genève et membre du Centre Interfacultaire en Sciences Affectives (CISA). Ses recherches sur le bonheur et le sens de la vie sont financés par une bourse Eccellenza du Fonds National Suisse (2019-2024).

Ses recherches se situent à la croisée de la philosophie et des sciences cognitives et portent sur des domaines aussi variés que la philosophie de l'action, l'éthique, l'esthétique, la philosophie de l'esprit, la psychologie des émotions et la psychologie morale. Ses recherches ont été publiées dans des des revues scientifiques de premier plan en philosophie, psychologie, neurosciences et linguistiques.

En plus de son projet de recherche Eccellenza, il est également coordinateur d'un projet de recherche sur le rôle des émotions positives dans le comportement philanthropique, en collaboration avec le Centre en Philanthropie de l'Université de Genève (2019-2020).

Outre la recherche et l'enseignement, il prête un grand intérêt à la vulgarisation scientifique et la diffusion des connaissances. Certaines de ses interventions dans les médias suisses (RTS) peuvent être écoutées ici.
