Automating & Accelerating Scientific Discovery with AI
Date: 25 September- 6 October, 2023.
Venue: UNIGE
Organizers: Organizers Slava Voloshynovskiy (UNIGE) and Tobias Golling (UNIGE)
The spotlight of the workshop was on generative models and their pivotal role in addressing the challenges faced in particle physics. We are on the cusp of a revolution, where advanced machine learning is poised to surpass traditional methodologies. This event navigated topics such as diffusion, score, foundation models, and their myriad applications spanning inverse problems, generative model challenges, and out-of-distribution detection.
