Amoeba measures of random plane curves
Abstract: I will upper and lower estimate the asymptotic growth of the expected area of the amoeba of a random plane complex curve. It involves, given a collection of disjoint bidiscs of size inverse to the square root of the degree, a lower estimate on the probability that one of the disc be a submanifold chart of the plane curve. This is a joint work with Ali Ulaş Özgür Kişisel.
