Michal Outrata and Olga Trapeznikova receive the Prix Henri Fehr 2023 for the best thesis in mathematics.

The prize will be awarded on 2 November 2023 at the Faculty of Science graduation ceremony.

The CHF 2,000 Henri Fehr Prize is awarded by the journal L'Enseignement Mathématique at the suggestion of the College of Professors of the Mathematics Section. It is awarded for the best doctoral thesis in mathematics of the year at the University of Geneva.

L'Enseignement Mathématique is an international journal founded in 1899 by Henri Fehr (Geneva) and Charles-Ange Laisant (Paris). It offers research articles in a variety of fields, with preference given to articles at least some of which are accessible to a wide audience of mathematicians. Fehr was editor-in-chief for fifty years until 1954.
