at UNIGE Postdoc

Cristina completed her PhD degree in 2018 at Paris Diderot University, coordinated by Professor Christian Blanchet. For the following three years she was a postdoc at the University of Oxford in the group of Professor Andras Juhasz. She was a postdoc at the University of Geneva in Professor Rinat Kashaev's group between September 2021 and February 2024.

In March 2024 she joined the University of Leeds as a Research Fellow as part of the team of the EPSRC grant Combinatorial Representation Theory: Algebra and its interfaces with geometry, topology and combinatorics.

Her research lies in quantum topology, at the interaction between representation theory, low dimensional topology and symplectic topology. She is interested in discovering topological information encoded by quantum invariants for knots and 3-manifolds using tools coming from the topology of configuration spaces. Her research concerns geometrical categorifications for quantum invariants and asymptotic behaviours of quantum invariants seen from a geometrical perspective.
