International Symposium Dedicated to Children
Campus Biotech - Geneva
23 September 2023
Join Prof. Walid Habre to celebrate a lifetime’s career committed to improving children’s care through translational and clinical research: Where we were, where we are now and dreams for the future.
A special “International Symposium dedicated to Children” will be held in Geneva on September 23, 2023. This symposium is the culmination of Prof. Walid Habre's career dedicated to the anaesthesia care of children at the Geneva Children’s Hospital.
The scientific programme comprises a clinical part, with topics covering the major psychological and physiological challenges in paediatric anaesthesia; while the second part highlights the translational research that benefited children in clinical practice. More importantly, the speakers are not only internationally renowned experts from around the world, but also colleagues and friends encountered during his professional career and that have influenced his medical and scientific career. The venue, Campus Biotech, the life sciences hub for the region, illustrates the creativity and innovation in medicine.
