The Booster - Effective treatment to boost young biomedical research talents

Meet the 2024 winners!

The Booster is an initiative of the Faculty of Medicine to highlight five doctoral students in life sciences at the University of Geneva in order to financially support their careers.

The success of the previous editions allow us to propose a Booster every year to offer to five young researchers a very formative and valuable experience for their career. The programme also allows them to improve their communication and popularisation skills, which are an asset for their future.

Thanks to the generous contribution of donors, we are able to support five laureates per year with CHF 10,000 grant for each of them. The grants will be used to finance international experiences, such as a stay in a laboratory abroad and the participation in conferences, or for further training.
