The Frontiers in Biomedicine (initially "Frontiers in Biology") lecture series was initiated in 2003 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva. The series aims at bridging the gap between medicine and basic sciences through a cycle of seminars every year. Speakers were initially invited by each department, but are now hosted by the faculty centers. These world-class guests from all domains of the basic medical sciences and/or translational medicine are invited to present broadly accessible lectures to a non-specialist scientific audience. Lectures are given in English.
