Resident physician 

The Institute of Global Health  is offering  a position as resident physician in global and public health.

Workload and duration: Part-time at 50% for one year or full-time at  100% for 6 months (Class 16), starting November 1st, 2019.

The Institute of Global Health is recognised as a Type A institution for the ISFM/FMH medical specialisation in prevention and public health and offers a unique work environment in Geneva, in close contact with leading global health institutions, international organisations and NGOs.

Missions :
- Coordination of the French-speaking platform of Grippenet.ch, a participatory influenza monitoring research project
- Coordination of the institute’s “One Week Medical School” course
- Participation in other activities and seminars of the institute, depending on the resident's wishes, interests and skills
- Acquisition of practical experience and theoretical knowledge in epidemiology and global health

Requirements: 
- Swiss federal physician diploma or other title deemed equivalent by the federal commission on medical professions (MEBEKO)
- Interest in any domains of global health, public health and/or epidemiology
- Knowledge of French and English
