Presentation: I am currently group leader and assistant professor at the University of Geneva (Faculty of Medicine) and director of the Kinesiology Laboratory at the Geneva University Hospitals. I have obtained a PhD in Biomechanics in 2005 (Valenciennes, France). My research aims to better identify and understand human gait disorders, and to improve the management of these disorders. I am particularly interested in providing scientific evidence in the field of gait analysis (i.e. identification, understanding and management of gait deviations).  I am also involved in the board of the  European Society for Movement analysis in Adults and Children - ESMAC (leader of the group: standardization of clinical gait analysis). I am convinced that scientists need to share (e.g. data, papers, protocols, code) and collaborate to speed up research and to improve knowledge in the public health domain. My close collaboration with medical doctors and patients made me aware of concrete medical concerns in clinical practice for which we try to find common solutions.
