The aim of the project is to develop an intelligent footwear for diabetic patients with the aim of preventing lower limb amputations. The goal is to unload the area of the foot with high plantar pressure in order to accelerate wound healing (in patients with an active ulcer) or to prevent the formation of new ulcers (in patients at risk).
