Szymon started his scientific career in Warsaw, Poland. He obtained his PhD in the cellular and molecular biology of aging at the University of Geneva. The main focus of his research was autophagy and protein aggregation in aging and non-aging species of Hydra. He joined the group of professor Frisoni in 2020 taking the position of Data Manager. He oversees the flow of information from the clinical activities of the Memory Center to the various research projects ensuring the anonymity of the patients and safe storage of their data. He designs and maintains the clinical research database, governs the data integrity and facilitates data exchange with the scientific community.
