March 25: an interesting lecture from Dr Aurélien Lathuilière
On Tuesday 25th of March 2025, Dr Aurélien LATHUILIERE, hosted in the laboratory of Prof. Anne-Claude GAVIN gave an interesting lecture entitled "Propagation of pathological aggregates in neurodegenerative diseases: from molecules to clinical outcomes".
Aurélien Lathuilière is a clinical neurologist and neuroscientist interested in neurodegenerative disorders. His research is intended at studying the mechanisms of physiological and pathological tau cell-to-cell propagation in Alzheimer’s disease and other tauopathies. His current research projects aim at developing tools to detect seeding-competent pathological tau conformers in human samples and study the mechanisms of tau uptake and secretion.
