A review on the role of talin in cell adhesion

In order to ensure their survival and perform properly their tasks, cells must anchor to their extracellular environment. After revealing the physical structure of a key protein involved in that process, talin, researchers have now reviewed its role in cell attachment to the extracellular matrix, taking into account their new findings.
