A successful open day diabetes & obesity
On Thursday November 11th 2021, the Faculty Diabetes Centre and the PHYM department opened their doors and invited interested people to learn more about diabetes.
From 9:30am to 18pm, about 200 people from various horizons attended this special day. They met many researchers and clinicians from the University and discovered the progress of research in the area of the diabetes.
This open day presented to the public the functioning of the disease with a panel of conferences, laboratory visits and hands-on workshops. Discovering the role played by genetics, watching the cells which secret insulin and uncovering the importance of the day-night alternation : these are few examples of the various topics presented.
