Christmas and New Year celebrations in the department

The festivities began on the 18th of December with a mulled wine tasting and sweets. Many thanks to Olivier and Hervé for the delicious mulled wine and to Ariane for her beautiful homemade biscuits.

Then, on the 19th of December, the PHYM department dressed up in movie characters for its annual party. The party, organised by the 2nd year PhD students (many thanks to them!), took place in a room with a floor decorated with Hollywood stars bearing the names of the labs.

The costumes were amazing : dinosaurs, cartoon characters, heroes and famous actresses.  The prizes for the best costumes went to a Groot made of real bark, an impressive Gandalf, a frightening Cruella and a merry band of Minions.
