Sept 11: a lecture from Prof. Renata Basto

On Wednesday 11th of September, Prof. Renata BASTO, Unit of Cell Biology and Cancer, Institut Curie, Paris, France, invited by Prof. Monica GOTTA and Patrick MERALDI, will give a lecture entitled "Polyploidy: the good, the bad and the surprise".

Her lecture will take place on Wednesday 11th of September at 10:30am in the auditorium P Boymond B02.2226, CMU.

Her lab is interested in the mechanisms at play when aneuploidy and polyploidy are induced in cycling cells in vivo. By using a combination of genetics, fix and live imaging, cell biology and molecular biology techniques they are exploring the consequences of polyploidy  with human cells, mouse and Drosophila as model systems.
