Two awards for research on metabolic liver diseases

On Thursday 25 April 2024 took place the Research Day Gilles Mentha. Among the three prizes available for fundamental research, two were awarded to young researchers from the Department of cell physiology and metabolism.

One prize was awarded to Miranda Türkal, PhD student in the laboratory on Obesity, liver metabolic disorders & cancer for her project entitled "Human Liver Organoids: A Relevant Model to Identify the Drivers of MASLD".

Another prize went to Etienne Delangre, postdoctoral fellow also in the laboratory on Obesity, liver metabolic disorders & cancer for his project entitled "Distinct roles of hepatic S100A10 and S100A11 in MASLD and HCC".
