Sofia received her bachelor’s degree in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Crete, Greece. Then, she obtained her master’s degree in Neuroscience at the Medical School of the University of Crete, where she also completed her PhD in Neuropharmacology that focused on the investigation of the downregulation of cannabinoid receptor type-1 (CB1) in rat retina. Sofia joined the Stoeber group as a postdoctoral fellow in June 2023.
