Farnaz Delavari joined the DIP Lab in October 2019 as a PhD student to be involved in the longitudinal study on patients with 22q11 deletion syndrome. Under the co-supervision of Prof Stephan Eliez and Prof Dimitri Van De
Ville, she plans to use multiple neuroimaging modalities to disentangle the neurodevelopmental mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of psychosis and anxiety.

Farnaz obtained her Medical Degree and Master Degree in Public Health from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2019. Before joining the DIP Lab she was a research assistant in the Non-Communicable Diseases Research Centre (TUMS) and did a month of elective medical internship in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the IKHC hospital complex in Tehran.
