Specific support for academic careers
The SNSF Flexibility grant is for doctoral and postdoctoral students employed on research projects supported by the SNSF, with dependent children. This grant allows researchers to find a better work–life balance thanks to two measures. The first measure is a payment to cover the cost of external childcare. The second measure is a financial contribution towards the salaries of support people, so that parents can reduce their employment rate. These two measures can be combined.
