Ysadora Charital received in 1997 her PhD degree in Organic Chemistry at the CNRS (Montpellier, France), for chemical and pharmacological studies on a neuropeptide and its G Protein Coupled Receptors. Then, she joined ’’La Fondation pour Recherches Médicales’’ in Geneva, for fundamental research in molecular biology, with studies on oncogene regulation by a transcription factor. In 2006, she worked in the oncology department at the HUG in Geneva where she was responsible of studies coordination for multicenter phase III clinical trials of new drugs.

She was employed in a biotech company as a Scientific Manager for assisting the CEO in the scientific coordination of an European project, for writing proposals and fund-raising.
Then she developed and increased her knowledge of European programmes throughout the EuresearchNetwork.

Since 2016, Ysadora Charital is in charge for infrastructure research programmes as well as for National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCR).
