		Prof. Irène HIRT, professeure associée Irène Hirt est professeure associée au Département de géographie et environnement depuis 2018. Après un doctorat en géographie humaine à l’Université de Genève obtenu en 2008, elle a été boursière postdoctorale Marie Curie (International Outgoing Fellowship), à l’Université Laval, au Québec (Canada). En 2015, elle a été nommée chercheure au Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) en France, au laboratoire Passages, à Bordeaux (France). Elle est directrice du master en géographie politique et culturelle. Irène Hirt is Associate Professor at the Department of Geography and Environment (Geneva School of Social Sciences) since 2018. After receiving her PhD in Human Geography from the University of Geneva in 2008, she was a Marie Curie Fellow (International Outgoing Fellowship) at Laval University in Quebec (Canada). In 2015, she was appointed as a researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), working wit the laboratory Passages, in Bordeaux, France. She currently serves as Director of the Master in Political and Cultural Geography.
