Luca Perrig is post-doc researcher and teaching assistant since September 2016. In his research, he is interested in the role of digital infrastructures in building a labour market for online food deliveries. More precisely, he seeks to uncover the way mobile apps mediate labor relations and ultimately shape labor markets. Using an ethnographical approach, he follows managers, developers, and workers, and focuses on the transmission of information among them. Trained in both economics and sociology, his research interests include economic sociology, science and technology studies, and digital methods.
Starting in September 2023, he will join the University of St.Gallen to work on the project Trading Conditions on Marketplaces.
