Tamam Mohsen is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Geneva. She received an MA in Political Science & International Relations from Durham University (UK). Tamam has been awarded a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship for Foreign Scholars and Artists for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Before joining SPERI, Tamam worked as a journalist based in Palestine. Her contributions appeared on Raseef22 and Mondoweiss and concerned human rights, gender-related topics, and colonialism.

Her doctoral research, entitled " Intergroup Contact in Colonial Context and its Implications on Trust and Support for Peace:  Case of Palestine/Israel in Post-Oslo Era”.  It provides an in-depth analysis of intergroup contact between Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Israeli Jews in the post-Oslo period and the implication of such interaction on outgroup trust and support of peace.
