Guido is an expert on observations of ultra high-redshift galaxies, in particular in developing selection and characterisation techniques through both imaging and spectroscopy. He received his PhD from University College London in 2019 before moving to UCLA for a postdoctoral scholarship with Prof. Tommaso Treu. Guido was the junior lead of the GLASS-JWST ERS program and now leads his own program with the James Webb Space Telescope as an SNSF Postdoctoral Fellow in Geneva.
