Claude holds an MS in computer science engineering (1999) and an MS in theoretical computer science (2001). He obtained his Ph.D in computer science in 2004 from Insa de Lyon. He spent 10 years as an associate professor at Telecom Paris and 7 years as the head of the computer science department at Webster University Geneva and a full professor. Claude's research activities were centered around distributed wireless networks, algorithms and stochastic performance evaluation.

He joined the CU7 team in September 2023 to work on the GPU parallelization and optimization of data processing algorithms
