I obtained my Bachelors and Master’s integrated dual degree (BS-MS) from IISER Mohali, India where I worked on understanding host-virus interactions. My fascination for imaging led me to join Kaksonen lab for my PhD in January 2022.
My project focuses on studying the recruitment of Pan1, a late coat protein to the endocytic sites and its contribution to the endocytic site transition from a variable early phase to fixed late phase. For this, I am mainly using genetic engineering and live cell microscopy in live yeast cells.
