Welcome to the website of Bordignon research group.

We study how biomolecules interact and change structures in their physiological environment using site-directed spin labeling electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). We monitor dynamics of specific spin-labeled side chains via continuous wave EPR, determine interspin distances between selected pairs of labels via dipolar spectroscopy, and follow the hydration water dynamics at biological interfaces using ODNP (Overhauser Dynamic Nuclear Polarization).
