Welcome to the website of the University of Geneva Laboratory of Molecular Bacteriology. |
Our research focuses on the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa and its ability to resist antibiotics in the presence of metals. We are also interested in problems related to wound infections in severe burns. The laboratory offers various services, expertise and microbiological analysis to the community, particularly in the context of the search for new antimicrobial molecules. The team manages various communication missions and services to schools and the general public in the field of life sciences and more specifically in microbiology. Our group also participates in numerous bacteriology courses for future biologists and pharmacists.
